Profile of the life and career of the late rapper Notorious BIG (aka Biggie Smalls). Christopher George Latore Wallace rose from humble surroundings in Brooklyn, New York to become one of the biggest names on the American hip hop scene of the 1990s. His career gained both publicity and notoriety as a result of his rivalry with West Coast rapper, Tupac Shakur - a rivalry that left both of them shot dead. The programme contains interviews with Biggie and his mother, as well as much previously unseen footage, including an examination of the site where he was shot and killed.
