Our Brand is Crisis from director David Gordon Green (Pineapple Express, George Washington), stars Oscar winners Sandra Bullock (The Blind Side) and Billy Bob Thornton (Sling Blade).  A Bolivian presidential candidate failing badly in the polls enlists the firepower of an elite American management team, led by the deeply damaged but still brilliant strategist “Calamity” Jane Bodine (Bullock). In self-imposed retirement following a scandal that earned her nickname and rocked her to her core, Jane is coaxed back into the game for the chance to beat her professional nemesis, the loathsome Pat Candy (Thornton), now coaching the opposition.

Sandra Bullock and Billy Bob Thornton star in this political comedy drama directed by David Gordon Green. Inspired by the true events recounted in Rachel Boynton's 2005 documentary, the film follows the lead up to the 2002 Bolivian general election. Politician Pedro Castillo (Joaquim de Almeida) goes to consulting firm Greenberg Carville Shrum for help to win the election and political strategist Jane Bodine (Bullock) is assigned to run his campaign in Bolivia. She employs American campaign tactics in her efforts to make Castillo a successful candidate but she faces tough competition from Pat Candy (Thornton), consultant to Castillo's opposition and Bodine's arch-rival. Can she run a succesful campaign and beat Candy in the process?
