Precious Puppies is a joyous celebration of puppies of every kind from those that swim to the pampered puppies being groomed for TV adverts and movies. This one hour special starts with a tasteful montage of a pregnant dog puppies being born and the mothers first licks followed by the first weeks of the young puppies' growth and the attention lavished on it by it's doting mother. By 6 weeks old the puppies are into playful mode their every leap and tumble is captured leading us to the more mischevious puppies as they get into mischief of all kinds; upsetting... cans of paint causing havoc in the kitchen and creating general mayhem. Precious Puppies shows the amazing diversity of breeds from those that love water and swim and play under the hose to those that are aristocratic fluffy and hairless. We show the entire range of puppy behaviour. The programme looks at hoe smart puppies can be as we follow the process of training dogs that go on to perform amazing tricks. The next segment takes us throught the process of training and auditioning for TV commercials magazine ads and movies leading to their starring roles on screen. Precious Puppies shows puppies being indulged in establishments specialisng in puppy care from grooming through to manicures.
