Children's comedy about finding friendship in the most unlikely places. When Princess Rosalinda (Demi Lovato)'s country is invaded by an evil dictator, she is put into the 'Princess Protection Programme' and relocated to Wisconsin where she must learn how to act like a normal teenager while living with agent Mason (Tom Verica) and his daughter Carter (Selena Gomez). At first their personalities clash, but soon they discover they are able to help each other and realise they have more in common than they thought.
