Box set of all four of the high school horror films. 'Prom Night' (1980) is set on the anniversary of the accidental death of a young girl, killed by four kids who have kept their guilty secret to themselves. But now the man wrongly imprisoned for the murder has escaped and has a lust for violent revenge. In 'Prom Night 2 - Hello Mary Lou' (1987), on Prom Night in 1957 young Mary Lou Maloney (Lisa Schrage) is burned alive in a horrific accident after a prank goes drastically wrong. High school principal Bill Nordham (Michael Ironside) has kept his secret for thirty years, that he was the one responsible for Mary Lou's death. Nordham's son begins dating the Prom Queen of 1987, Vicki Carpenter (Wendy Lyon), but when Vicki discovers some old clothes in the school's costume room, she doesn't realise that they used to belong to Mary Lou. Before long a suspicious death forces Nordham to confront the truth - that the enraged spirit of Mary Lou has possessed Vicki Carpenter, and seeks her vengeance on the school. 'Prom Night 3 - The Last Kiss' (1990) is a tongue-in-cheek entry in the horror franchise. Alex Gray (Tim Conlon) is an average high school student who falls in love with the vengeful spirit of murdered 1950s debutante Mary Lou Maloney (Courtney Taylor). Dazzling Alex with promises of love, Mary Lou creates havoc as she eliminates all obstacles in Alex's high school career. Only too late does Alex discover that his teenage dreams have turned into nightmares. Finally, in 'Prom Night 4 - Deliver Us From Evil' (1992), 1957 sees another brutal murder at Hamilton High School, when fanatical priest Father Jonas (James Carver) brutally murders a courting couple in the back seat of their car. The Catholic authorities cover up the crime by keeping Jonas drugged in the church basement, for 33 years, until one day an orderly forgets to give Jonas his medication. Escaping into the woods, the deranged priest prepares to further punish the sinful when he comes across four teens who have skipped out of their Prom Night in order to spend time together in a secluded cabin.
