The Canadian Opera Company perform Puccini's tragic tale of love, intrigue and betrayal. In Rome, 1800, former consul Cesare Angelotti (Phillip Skinner) seeks refuge with the painter Cavaradossi (Vyacheslav Polozov) in the Attavanti chapel. Cavaradossi's lover Tosca (Stefka Evstatieva), however, believes that he has another woman, and betrays him and Angelotti to the chief of police Baron Scarpia (Cornelis Opthof).
