Based on Spike Milligan's best-selling, satirical novel set in 1924, when the Boundary Commission from Britain and Ireland decided on the new boundary line between Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic. When they wake up one morning to find their town divided, the inhabitants of Puckoon begin to behave according to which side of the barbed wire fence they are on.
