All 26 episodes of the Japanese anime set in 2012, in which Tokyo teenager Ayato Kamina is chosen to lead the freedom organisation Terra in the fight against the alien dictators Mu, and to pilot the angel-winged giant mecha robot RahXephon. Tokyo, re-named Tokyo Jupiter, has been cut off from the rest of the world. Those living within its boundaries believe the rest of the world is wasteland, while they in fact are controlled by alien dictators, the Mu, who are destroying the city using their deadly Dolem machines. Led by a young girl called Reika, Ayato discovers the RahXephon, a giant winged machine he can telepathically bond with and use to save the world. Episodes comprise: 'Overlord', 'Awakening', 'Welcome to Our Town', 'Watch the Year Hand', 'On Earth As It Is in Heaven', 'Lost Songs Forgotten Memories', 'Phantom in the Cloud', 'The Dreaming Stone', 'Sanctuary', 'War in the Remembrance', 'Nightmare', 'Resonance', 'Sleeping Beauty', 'Deus Ex Machina' and 'Time Enough for Love'.
