Documentary based on the life and memoirs of Tim Conigrave. Tim Conigrave and John Caleo were both pupils of a prestigious Catholic school for boys in Melbourne, Australia in the 1970s. There they met and fell in love, but living in a time and place unwilling to accept homosexuality, they faced conflict and persecution on a daily basis. Their tumultuous story was told in Conigrave's memoir and has been adapted for the big screen, with acted reconstructions as well as archive footage.
