All seven episodes of the Animal Planet series following extreme angler Jeremy Wade as he goes on the hunt for freshwater fish with a taste for human flesh. Episodes are: 'Piranha', 'Killer Catfish', 'Alligator Gar', 'European Maneater', 'Amazon Assassins', 'Amazon Flesheaters' and 'Freshwater Shark'.

Please note this is a region 2 DVD and will require a region 2 (Europe) or region Free DVD Player in order to play. Biologist and extreme angler Jeremy Wade investigates the world's most impressive river dwelling 'monsters' in this fantastic six-part series. Starting in Brazil's murky Amazon waters, Jeremy examines whether piranhas deserve their fearsome reputation, and if there's any truth in tales of catfish swallowing people whole. Then on to a lake just outside Berlin to find Europe's largest freshwater fish, the Wels Catfish, and into America's deep south to investigate an ancient fish that has existed on earth for over 100 million years, the alligator gar. And then back in the Amazon, Jeremy goes in search of 'assassins' such as the arapaima fish, and meets the brave people that farm them.
