French thriller from director Cédric Kahn based on the true story of the man who became France's public enemy number one. Having escaped from an Italian mental institution, where he was incarcerated after killing both his parents, Roberto Succo travels to France and begins a series of murders, rapes and abductions. Picking up a holidaying teenager, Léa, in the South of France, Succo finds someone he can confide in and their relationship lasts throughout the summer. Meanwhile, the police begin to make the first connections between his crimes and realise they have a serial killer on their hands.
