Horror in which a young woman who has recently suffered a bereavement finds herself the captive of an unhinged couple bent on torture. Mara (Michelle Page) has recently lost her father and travels to Rogue River to honour his request to have his ashes scattered there. By the riverside she meets Jon (Bill Moseley), a local man who seems sympathetic to her plight but informs Mara that she requires a permit to scatter ashes in the area. Jon offers to help her obtain the permit but insists she stay for dinner first. The unhappy Mara consequently finds herself trapped in a house with Jon and his equally homicidal wife, Lea (Lucinda Jenney), and engaged in a desperate struggle for survival.

When scattering her father&39;s ashes at a remote part of the beautiful Rogue River in Oregon Mara&39;s (Michelle Page) car is towed away by the over-zealous local police She accepts the offer of a ride into town by a kindly passerby Jon (Bill Moseley - Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 and The Devil&39;s Rejects) but they must first make a quick stop at his place to tell his wife what he&39;s up to These people aren&39;t what they seem though and Mara soon realises she is being held hostage in a house of horrors With shock twists and creepy turns Rogue River will leave your nerves stripped bare   Actors Michelle Page Art Alexakis Chris Coy Michael Cudlitz Lucinda Jenney Bill Moseley & Michael Rooker Director Jourdan McClure Certificate 18 years and over Year 2010 Languages English
