Sher Singh leaves Punjab to move to Mumbai. Once there he changes his name to Shekhar meets the beautiful Nisha and falls in love. When requested to return by his mother Shekhar finds himself forced into marriage looking after his sister and fending off the claims of someone who looks like him claiming to be the 'real' Shekhar!
