Stuart Heisler directs this romantic drama starring Tab Hunter and Linda Darnell. The film follows Corporal Dugan (Hunter) and Nurse Elizabeth Smythe (Darnell) as they become stranded on a tropical island after their ship is destroyed by a naval mine. As their time on the island increases a relationship develops between the pair but when aircraft pilot William Peck (Donald Gray) is forced to crash-land on the island, it isn't long before his arrival puts the relationship in jeopardy...
