Documentary drama telling the story of the men who tried to save the supposedly unsinkable ship who foundered on her maiden voyage. On 14th April 1912, the Titanic struck an iceberg and in a matter of hours went down in the North Atlantic Ocean, taking with her many passengers and members of the crew. This film follows Chief Engineer Joseph Bell (David Wilmot) and the other men in the engine and boiler rooms as they courageously work on to keep the ship's power running while chaos breaks out above deck. They may be unable to stop the ship from sinking but their heroism will have an impact on the number of lives saved.
