Scratch dj Academy opened its' doors in the Spring of 2002 with two missions: To gain recognition for the dj as a musician and to establish a place where people can learn how to dj! Led by the the late Jam Master Jay and fueled by interest and love from entusiasts worldwide the first semester of the Scratch dj Academy was filled with historic moments extraordinary artistic expressions and unique insight into todays hottest art form.
