Documentary following Super Furry Animals frontman Gruff Rhys as he takes off on a transcontinental road trip in search of his long-lost Patagonian uncle. As he traverses South America to track down his poncho-wearing guitarist relative, Rene Griffiths, in the Welsh-speaking enclave of Patagonia, Gruff finds time along the way to take in live musical performances in the theatres, nightclubs and desert tea houses of Wales, Brazil and the Argentine Andes.
