Because of her last name Kumada (bear + rice paddy) and her appearance Misa's high school classmates call her Pooh disparagingly. She obviously has no friends and can only let down her guard around her pet parrot and the goldfish in the science room at school. Japanese teenage drama. Misa Kumada (Mimpib) is a loser to her classmates at high school and is teased daily about her appearance and last name. With no friends, Misa's only source of happiness is the science department's goldfish. However, her luck changes when she is befriended by Izumi (Izumi Okamura), who is one of the more popular girls at the school. The two spend a lot of time getting to know one another and, as their friendship blossoms, their feelings become more and more confusing. But is Izumi being sincere or does she have other motives?
