Sheffield Wednesday 2013/14 Season Review Having secured promotion in 2012 this was a season in which Wednesday needed to cement their position as a Championship team and build on the success of previous campaigns. After a difficult start to the campaign Owls had to wait until November to secure their first victory but they did so in emphatic style beating promotion contenders Reading 5-2. A change of manager saw Stuart Gray take the helm and the team responded by beating eventual league champions Leicester City 2-1 thanks to a brace from Connor Wickham. From...
