Along with Sisters Of Mercy and The Cult - Skeletal Family led the charge of the gothic punk brigade in the early 1980's. The band formed in Keighley West Yorkshire in 1982.Their first single ""Trees / Just A Friend"" caught the attention of John Peel at Radio One - who's support boosted the single into the independent charts.The band signed with independent Red Rhino (and later with Chrysalis Records) and went on to achieve major success in the UK independent chart (with four top ten singles in a row - three of which are featured on this DVD).
