This documentary takes an in-depth look at the Italian goal-scoring machine that is Gianluca Vialli. Born in Cermonese on July 8th 1964 Vialli had a supremely successful playing career in which he once commanded the high transfer fee in football history (12.5 million to move from Samp' to Juve in 1992). Once in possession of a curly mop of hair Vialli experienced a goal-drought at Juve which prompted him to remove his famous barnet in favour of a razor-sharp skinhead vowing that he'd remain bald as long as he re-discovered his finishing prowess; to this day he... remains hairless! After two successful but trophy-less World Cup campaigns 'Luca' made the move to the English premier League (now Premiership) and eventually succeeded Ruud Gullit as player-manager of Chelsea. This documentary features interviews with residents from Gianluca's hometown and the people who were influential in his life. Not only that but Vialli himself offers his own thoughts on his achievements. With a smattering of top quality footage of 'Luca' in action this is ideal viewing for fans of the player and the game.
