In the second chapter of the animated series, there is a marked transition in the characters, technology and the overall political climate of the Star Wars universe. In this volume the main story is about the Separatist attack on Coruscant and consequent kidnapping of Palpatine which leads right into the beginning of the latest movie: Revenge of the Sith. A sidestory of volume two pertains to the relationship between Anakin and Obi-Wan; they are shown to be great friends which makes watching the latest movie all the more tragic.
