Late 1940s western starring Dick Powell and Jane Greer. Investigating the murder of two men and the raid on the gold shipment they were guarding, private detective Haven (Powell) searches for some answers in a small frontier town where saloon singer Charlie (Greer) seems to be the head of the operation. In disguise, Haven begins to work for Charlie, all the while gathering information to prove her involvement in the robbery. Agnes Moorehead and Burt Ives co-star.
