The Glenn Miller Band star in this wartime musical as a struggling swing band called The Dartmouth Troubadors. The band is about to get a big break by playing at an exclusive ski resort called Sun Valley, when the romance between the piano player, Ted, and the singer, Vivienne, is rocked by a publicity stunt. The band adopts a wartime refugee who turns out to be a gorgeous blonde Norwegian looking for an American husband. The film features the superb dancing of the Nicholas Brothers and famous songs such as 'Chattanooga Choo-Choo', 'I Know Why' and 'So Do You'.
