British crime thriller starring Ray Winstone. John 'Tank' Malling (Winstone) is a tough investigative reporter whose research into the powerful but corrupt organisation The Moral Revivalists leads him to the door of celebrated Tory politician Sir Robert Knights. Before Tank has time to prove the politician's links to the group, however, he is framed by Knights's unscrupulous lawyer, Dunboyne (Jason Connery), and sent to jail. On his release he is contacted by high class prostitute Helen (Amanda Donohoe), who has reasons of her own for wishing to see Knights brought down. Now, armed with the evidence he needs, Tank has just 24 hours to see that justice is finally done.
