Originally a character actor in television during the 1950s and early 1960s Telly Savalas made a number of memorable films including The Dirty Dozen and Kelly's Heroes before becoming a major international star thanks to television once again this time in the lead role of Kojak. Whilst for many Telly Savalas was Kojak his acting roles showed him to be at home in almost any role from the comical side in Captircorn One to the villain in On Her Majesty's Secret Service. The two films in this collection also show those skills off to perfection. Border Cop: Frank Cooper... is a policeman who patrols the Mexian border trying to deal with a never ending influx of smuggled Mexicans destined for low paid jobs in the US. His real hatred however is reserved for the the high powered locals who get rich from human trafficking. Pancho Villa: Mexican general Pancho Villa needs guns to maintain his revolution but without money and a constant stream of double-crossing dealers means he must resort to other tactics.
