Hailing from Scotland The Almighty formed in 1988 having come together from a punk background with Ricky Warwick of New Model Army at the forefront the group. Following the dissolution of NMA The Almighty moved onto a more metal sound in the interests of keeping with the times. 2000 saw them releasing new material shortly to disband again - and then reform once more in 2006.
