Box set containing both the 1979 and 2005 versions of 'The Amityville Horror'. The story is based on real events and is centred around newly-weds George and Kathy, who take the lease on a beautiful colonial house on Long Island, and move in to discover bad smells, slamming doors, and the occasional very violent bump in the night. As the months pass it becomes clear that the house is in the grip of some kind of supernatural possession. As the unworldly incidents become more and more troubling, a priest is called in to set things right.
