Jeff Chandler stars as Cochise, the mighty Indian chief of the Chiricahua Apaches whose friendship and trust of the U.S. Cavalry has ensured peace in an otherwise hostile land. The already fragile concord is shattered when a new Indian Affairs agent (Bruce Cowling) conspires to bring the Apaches to war and open their lands for government use.
