In late June 1966 The Beatles played three celebrated concerts at the Budokan Hall in Tokyo Japan. On August 6 they released their album Revolver which broke new musical ground in terms of sound and instrumental variation. The Beatles used classical elements and pre-recorded tape loops to embellish lengthy elaborate songs like Eleanor Rigby Good Day Sunshine I'm Only Sleeping For No One and the psychedelic flavoured Tomorrow Never Knows.
