One year after the incredible events of "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," the Kings and Queens of Narnia find themselves back in that faraway wondrous realm, only to discover that more than 1300 years have passed in Narnian time.
I never thought that it would be possible for a film to capture the essence of CS Lewis books, however, it has been done.
The film is not just about the special effects which are obviously very good but the spirit of what Lewis was trying to bring across the struggle between good and evil. Even though the storyline has been changed in places with different emphasis to make it 'filmable' it is entirely understandable.
We all loved the film as a family (10 - 43 in age range) and it is one of those films we have watched again and again as a family.

The story continues as exiled heir to the throne, Prince Caspian (Ben Barnes), tries to defeat evil King Miraz (Sergio Castellitto) and regain his rightful place on the throne. Thinking it has only been one year since they last visited the magical kingdom of Narnia, the four child heroes return to discover that 1300 years have actually passed in the kingdom. With Narnia's golden age over, the usurpers, King Miraz and Queen Punaprisma (Alicia Borrachero), have taken the throne. Eager to keep his bloodline on the throne, the evil king plans to kill the rightful heir, Prince Caspian, in order that his son will inherit the kingdom. Now it's up to Peter (William Moseley), Susan (Anna Popplewell), Edmund (Skandar Keynes) and Lucy (Georgie Henley) to find Prince Caspian and, with the aid of those loyal to Narnia, restore the rightful king to the throne.
