Tod Slaughter stars in this 1940s horror based on the play 'Spring-Heeled Jack' by Maurice Sandoz. Philip Wraydon (Slaughter), an inventive and remorseless man who worked as a spy for Napoleon, harbours a serious grudge against England and, in particular, his brother's family. His killing spree inevitably draws the attention of the police - but they erroneously identify Philip's nephew Jack (Bruce Seton) as the murderer. With the net closing in on him, Jack faces a race against time to prove his innocence. Can he work out who the real killer is?
