The Decent Part 2 is a British claustrophobic horror film set two days after the original scream-fest, The Decent.
Sarah Carter is the sole survivor of an Appalachian caving expedition that went horribly wrong. She surfaces alone, distraught, confused and with no memory of her time in the caves and the terrifying horrors she encountered.
Covered in her friends' blood, the authorities begin to put pressure on her to remember what happened, but with nothing to go on, they decide she must go back into the depths to help find her five friends.... As they begin to hunt, Sarah has horrific flashbacks that make her realise the full terror and pointlessness of the mission. But as the savage Crawlers close in once more, can she draw on what's left of her strength to get out alive...again?

Horror sequel continuing the story of a group of ill-fated cavers. After Sarah Carter (Shauna MacDonald) is rescued from the Appalachian caves where several of her friends came to a bloody end, she is made to go back and help to try and find any remaining survivors. The local Sheriff (Gavan O'Herlihy) is not wholly convinced by Sarah's version of events or about what she claims she and her friends encountered in the caves and so pushes for the rescue expedition. It soon becomes clear, however, that every awful thing Sarah told him was true.

The crawlers are back in this follow-up to Neil Marshall's stellar cave horror outing from 2005. Beginning just moments after the end of the previous film, THE DESCENT 2 follows a rescue mission to save a group of female spelunkers who disappeared in the Appalachian Mountains. A sole survivor, Sarah (Shauna MacDonald) comes out of the caves, but a local sheriff makes her go back into the dark to aid in the search.
