Triple bill of foreign horror films. In 'Them' (2006), a couple have to fight for their lives when an assault on their home turns deadly. The story opens with the murder of two Romanians, a woman and her young daughter, who crash their car along a rural road and are promptly butchered by a shadowy figure. Meanwhile, in Bucharest, schoolteacher Clementine (Olivia Bonamy) climbs into her car and drives to the isolated mansion that she inhabits with partner Lucas (Michael Cohen), not far from the site of the murders. Soon the couple overhears someone stealing their car, but a call to the police accomplishes little. The lovers gradually realise that an outsider is attempting to break into the house with homicidal intent. Patrick Syversen directs 'Manhunt' (2008), co-written by and starring Nini Bull Robsahm. When a group of friends go on a countryside camping trip, they are hunted down and systematically murdered in the deep dark woods by three crazed men after picking up a terror-stricken hitchhiker. In 'Cold Prey' (2006) a group of teenagers are holed up in a deserted hotel. While snowboarding in the mountains of Norway, five teenagers have to find shelter quickly when one of their party breaks a leg. With no phone reception, and light fading fast, they see a hotel off in the distance and decide to head for it. On arrival the place is deserted, with no phone lines to the outside world, but with no other options available, the friends settle down for the night. Things take a turn for the worse when they discover a room in the basement where Norway's most notorious serial killer has been staying.
