Disc 1: Ford GT40 Henry Ford II had wanted a Ford at Le Mans since he took the realms of the company and more so when Ferrari unilaterally cut off talks at a late stage of Ford's take over of the company in 1963. Henry Ford II directed his racing division to build a Ferrari-beater on the world endurance-racing circuit and thus one of motor racing's greatest... cars was developed. Disc 2: Maserati 250F 1950-1960 Having spent a number of years in development the 250F first raced and won in the 1954 Argentine Grand Prix driven by Juan Manuel Fangio and in 1957 the car and perhaps the greatest racing driver ever to grace the sport Juan Manuel Fangio drove to four more championship victories including his legendary final win at German Grand Prix at the N''rburgring (Aug. 4 1957) where he overcame a 50 second deficit in just 20 laps passing the race leader on the final lap to take the win. Disc 3: Brtish Racing Motors BRM was founded just after the Second World War by Raymond Mays to build an all-British Grand Prix car for the post-war era as a national prestige project. Progress was slow but Tony Rudd's focus on the development the P57 saw it all come together in 1962 as BRM won the Constructors' Title and its principal driver Graham Hill became World Champion.
