Miles from nowhere, the Carter clan soon realizes the seemingly uninhabited wasteland is actually the breeding ground of a bloodthirsty mutant family... and they are the prey! The Hills Have Eyes 2:As part of a routine mission, a unit of National Guard soldiers stop at a New Mexico outpost in order to deliver equipment to a group of atomic scientists. When they arrive at the isolated research camp, however, they find it is mysteriously deserted. After spotting a distress signal in a distant mountain range, the team decide to embark on a search and rescue mission into the hills in order to locate the missing scientists. Little do they know that these are the very hills that the ill-fated Carter family once visited, and that a tribe of cannibalistic mutants lies in wait. And this time, there is an even larger force of evil at work that is intent on the soldiers' very destruction: the worst of the worst - the family patriarch Papa Hades - plans to keep the women as breeders in order to ensure the survival of the mutant clan. Thus, the un-expecting group of soldiers must learn to band together against a foe that is intent on their very destruction. Double bill of the Wes Craven Horror classic. 'The Hills Have Eyes' (2006), is a remake of his 1977 classic of the same name, about the Carters, an idyllic American family travelling through the great American southwest. The family's trip takes a detour into an area closed off from the public, but more importantly from society. An area originally used by the U.S. Government for nuclear testing that was intended to be empty - or so they thought. When the Carters' car breaks down at the old site, they're stranded - or are they? The Carters soon realise that what seemed like a car casually breaking down, might actually be a trap, perpetrated by the inhabitants of the site planning a gruesome massacre. 'The Hills Have Eyes 2' (2007),is the sequel to the popular 2006 horror remake. An isolated desert research camp has been mysteriously abandoned, and now it's up to an elite unit of soldiers to uncover the truth about the scientists who vanished without a trace. Their attention is soon diverted by a distress signal emitting from a distant mountain range, the squadron quickly regroups and sets out to investigate. Unbeknownst to the soldiers, however, is the fact that these are the very same hills where the Carter family recently fell prey to a flesh-eating pack of hideously deformed mutants. As the ranks of the cavalry unit steadily begin to dwindle, it soon becomes obvious that their guns provide little defense from an evil driven by hunger to commit the ultimate crime against humanity.
