Bernard Rose directs this drama based on the novella by Leo Tolstoy. When wealthy Beverly Hills philanthropist Edgar (Danny Huston) meets pianist Abigail (Elisabeth Rohm) at a dinner party, their relationship quickly develops into a deep and passionate affair. When Abby later begins to rehearse Beethoven's violin-piano duet 'The Kreutzer Sonata' with handsome young violinist Aiden (Matthew Yang King) for a performance at a charity benefit event, Edgar's feelings boil over into intense jealousy as he becomes convinced that the two young musicians are having an affair.
