Collection of three BBC documentaries exploring endangered habitats and species. In 'Lost Land of the Tiger' (2010) a team of big cat experts head to the remote mountains of Bhutan in the hope of witnessing the tiger in its natural habitat. The team are concerned particularly with the threat to the tiger as its environment is eroded by human activity. 'Lost Land of the Volcano' (2009) sees a team of scientists set up camp on an extinct volcano in New Guinea. From here they explore the surroundings of the volcano in the hope of unearthing rare and endangered creatures. In 'Lost Land of the Jaguar' (2011) experts including Gordon Buchanan and Steve Backshall head to the jungle of Guyana to seek out the jaguar. Along the way they keep a look out for Guyana's other dangerous residents including tarantulas and the giant anaconda.
