Based on a short story by Stephen King - A bloodthirsty laundry machine posseses the mind of the repairman that buys it. After murdering his wife he quickly moves on to kidnapping young women for the Mangler to kill. When his home is burgled the two intruders hear the screams for help of the Mangler's next victim and decide they must help her to escape. But when the repairman returns home a violent and bloody struggle ensues as the two criminals and the captive girl fight to escape.
