All six episodes from series two of the Channel 4 drama set in 1833 at the height of the British Industrial Revolution. At the heart of the story is Esther Price (Kerrie Hayes), a girl who works in a factory owned by the Greg family. Like many of her peers, Esther struggles with the low pay, long shifts and dangerous working conditions that were the hallmark of Britain's factories in the 19th century. However, unlike many others, Esther is prepared to stick up for herself - an astonishing feat of bravery given the ruthlessness of the men who oversee her work. Will she help inspire a change for the better?
