A chance meeting at the park introduces them to the mysterious Kurt, Charlotte, and Max. A family "playdate" becomes increasingly interesting as the night goes on. As the clock strikes 12 it soon becomes clear that Kurt and Charlotte want a playdate of their own too.

Adam Scott and Taylor Schilling star in this sex comedy written and directed by Patrick Brice. As Alex and Emily (Scott and Schilling) begin to settle in to their new life in Los Angeles after moving from Seattle with their young son RJ (R.J. Hermes), they receive an invitation to a 'welcome to the neighbourhood' dinner party from a friendly family who live down the street. The night takes an unexpected turn after the children are put to bed, as Alex and Emily are treated to a private screening of Charlotte (Judith Godrèche)'s latest porn movie and are invited to partake in an impromptu session of skinny-dipping. As Alex's insecurities are put to the test when the extremely well endowed Kurt (Jason Schwartzman) climbs into the hot tub, Emily begins to relax into the idea of an adults-only play date.
