Juliano Ribeiro Salgado and Wim Wenders direct this documentary exploring the work of Brazilian photographer Sebastiao Salgado. The photojournalist and former economist, known for his social documentary photography, discusses some of his most famous work including his images of the Serra Pelada mine included in his 1980s 'Workers' series and his 'Exodus' project that coincided with the Rwanda Civil War. The documentary also focuses on the key partnership he shares with his wife Lélia that has proved so vital to his life's work as well as documenting his most recent undertaking 'Genesis' in which he pays tribute to the planet's wildlife and natural beauty.
