Directed and written by M. Night Shyamalan, The Sixth Sense is a chilling ghost story that's cleverly constructed, extremely creepy and packs a huge emotional punch.
Malcom Crowe is an award winning psychologist who is one night visited by Vincent, an angry ex-patient who attacks him and then kills himself. Despite being very shaken by the experience, Crowe takes on a new patient, a 9-year-old boy named Cole who has the same symptoms as Vincent "He sees dead people". Crowe spends a lot of time with the boy, trying to get to the root of the problem... and attempting to prove that he can succeed where he failed with Vincent. However, after some time, the Doctor realises that there may be something in the Cole's claims - could it be that he's seeing dead people after all?
As well as a powerful atmosphere and great acting by Haley Joel Osment, this Hollywood cracker is a moving character-examination of loss that delivers an explosive finale like no other.
