Managed by intimidating-and-then-some boss Alison Crabbe (Front), the Hertfordshire health club known as The Spa aims to become the last word in therapeutic retreats. But as the staff, including bone-idle fitness instructor Marcus (Derren Litten), depressive complimentary therapist Davina (Debbie Chazen), and clueless receptionist Sally (Niky Wardley) struggle on, Alison's total indifference to customer service, coupled with a blatant, barefaced contempt for her staff, threatens to keep her dreams at bay.
