In 1976 the American Government finally agreed to allow Concorde to fly into the United States. Her moment had arrived. For the next 27 years she would transport passengers in ultimate comfort back and forth across Atlantic at remarkable speeds. Following the Air France crash and the terror attacks of September 11th the great airliner flew her last commercial flight on 24th October 2003 but Concorde would leave her mark on passenger aviation history forever.
