Documentary about Oscar-winning singer-songwriters Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova. Following on from their roles in the 2006 film 'Once' which won them an Oscar for Best Original Song, Glen and Marketa took to the road while their fame and relationship was still blossoming. Film-makers Nick August-Perna, Chris Dapkins and Carlo Mirabella-Davis accompany the pair on their worldwide tour, taking in a number of live performances as well as recording intimate backstage and behind-the-scenes footage. What results is a candid portrayal of the highs and lows of success and the deterioration of what was once a fairytale romance.
