Early 1990s horror produced by Roger Corman. Unable to conceive a baby naturally, Virginia and Brad Marshall (Brooke Adams and Jeff Hayenga) enlist in an IVF programme run by specialist Dr Richard Meyerling (James Karen). During her subsequent pregnancy, Virginia experiences a series of increasingly strange symptoms - and the couple eventually realises that the unborn foetus she is carrying is part of a sick and twisted experiment by the insane doctor.
