A brash Sicilian soldier on his way to the Spanish Civil War falls through the sky and into the present-day wine country of Salamanca where he is greeted with good news and bad. Spanish magical realism film written and directed by Jonathan Cenzual Burley. The film follows the experience of a Sicilian member of the International Brigades who is travelling to Guadalajara to help fight Franco's army during the Spanish Civil War. However, before he can get there, he is inexplicably transported into the future to the year 2012 where he wakes up in a rural village vineyard. Understandably confused by this turn of events, it isn't long before the villagers, including the local priest, start believing he is some kind of fallen angel. Is there a plausible explanation for this seeming act of God?
