Coming-of-age drama set in a poor, rural village from Turkish director Reha Erdem. In the village, each day is divided into five parts by the sound of the call to prayer. Every day, human existence is experienced through these five time periods. The film follows several young people on the cusp between childhood and adolescence. Omer (Ozkan Ozen) imaginatively plots his father's death, Yakup (Ali Bey Kayali) is in love with the village school teacher (Selma Ergec), and Yildiz (Elit Iscan)'s life is set to change dramatically with the pending birth of her new sibling...
