Spurs marked their 125th Anniversary on the 1st October in style celebrating the career and life of 'Mr Tottenham Hotspur' Bill Nicholson parading legends prior to kick off and wearing a commemorative white and sky blue halved shirt. This kit would be a pre cursor to what was about to happen on the pitch as the 'game of two halves' cliche was in full evidence on this extraordinary Monday night. Spurs took the lead early on only to see this lead eaten up and eclipsed and by half time they found themselves 3-1 down. The second half didn't start well either and... Spurs were staring defeat in the face but a miraculous and devastating performance from there on out saw Spurs snatch a point in the final seconds of the match showing the 'never say die' attitude that epitomises the spirit of the Club and its rich 125 year history.
